mark franchino…

is an Artist, Designer, Craftsperson, and Educator living in Western PA. Originally from Long Island NY, he received a BFA in 1998 from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a MFA from the University of Delaware in 2002. In the past 2 decades, his works have been shown in more than 100 group and solo exhibitions nationally and internationally.

In 2012 he began a collaboration with Jeremy Boyle based on their combined interests in the positive benefits of creative studio practice, in blurring the lines between work/play, in the intersection of art/design/craft, and in creating a sustainable creative practice through commerce. In that time they have had 6 solo exhibitions of their collaborative work, completed several custom design/prototype/fabrication projects, and released a line of objects/multiples for direct purchase.
